Soccer for Parents (that are new to soccer)
In light of recent legislation, Georgia Soccer has developed and adopted a Concussion Policy and Protocol that is now in effect for all Georgia Soccer sanctioned events. Developed by the Risk Management Committee, this procedure will aid parents and coaches in recognizing the signs of a potential concussion, and help players return to play only when it is safe to do so. Please take some time to review the below policy, as well as the concussion fact sheet from the CDC. More information can be found on the Player Safety section on the Georgia Soccer website.
